ABOUT KEN
Kenneth Posner, Lighting Designer, Designs extensively off-Broadway, for resident theatres and touring productions throughout the United States as well as internationally. He began his design career in the early 1990s as the lighting designer for the Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge Massachusetts. Selected Broadway credits include Beetlejuice, Pretty Woman, Mean Girls, War Paint, Tuck Everlasting, Disgraced, On Your Feet, If/Then, Kinky Boots, Pippin, Cinderella, Hairspray, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Legally Blonde, Catch Me If You Can, The Coast Of Utopia - Shipwrecked, Other Desert Cities, The Merchant Of Venice, The Little Foxes, The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer, Finding Neverland, and Wicked.
He has been fortunate to have collaborated with directors such as Jack O’Brien, Joe Mantello, Jerry Mitchell, Diane Paulus, Michael Grief, Mark Brokaw, Lynne Meadow, Daniel Sullivan, Lisa Peterson, Chris Ashley, Robert Falls, Kenny Leon, Jo Bonny, Neil Pepe, Oscar Eustis, Douglas Hughs, Emily Mann, Nicolas Martin, Barbara Gaines, Michael Mayer, Don Scardino, Alex Timbers, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Michael Wilson and Scott Ellis among others. He is a graduate of SUNY at Purchase and is the recipient of the TONY, Drama Desk, Outer Critic’s Circle, Lucille Lortel, and OBIE Awards.
